Imo State has continued to host major national events, with the 2022 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards taking place in Owerri, the state’s capital, as yet another demonstration of its security and friendliness.
Some of the night’s awards were presented to recipients in the Nigerian film industry by Governor Uzodimma, who served as the event’s chief host.
The Governor applauded the event planners for selecting Imo as their location this year.
Uzodimma reaffirmed that Imo State is the top choice for conferences and events because it is highly safe and welcoming to all Nigerians.
The governor assured those working in the film business that the Shared Prosperity Government will continue to promote Nollywood’s Best.
Seun Oloketuyi, who founded the Best of Nollywood Awards, highlighted earlier that Owerri is a center of activity and that the security situation is very solid.
It is important to remember that the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON Awards), a yearly film event hosted by Best of Nollywood Magazine that recognizes great accomplishments in the Nigerian film industry. Hosted the maiden edition on December 6, 2009 in Ikeja, Lagos State.
