Earlier today, I received the Imo State Local Government Chairpersons in my office. They were led by Mrs. Chizoba Okolieogwo, to give reports about the August Meetings held in the various Local Government Areas of the State and to express their praises for the successful celebration of the just concluded Grand Finale of the 2021 Imo Women’s August Meeting.
The leader of the Chairpersons disclosed in her report, that the packages shared to empower the women present during the event were dispersed.
I appreciate the commitment each of these leaders maintained by assisting me in making the event a glorious one for our women.
During the meeting, I prompted the leaders to keep identifying the vulnerable in our community and assisting them. My Office and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups will continue to enhance delivery of humanitarian aid to our Imo women.
I pray as you do so, God replenishes your pockets and strengthens you. I am indeed thankful for the visit and encouragement.
