Following the approval of the dredging of Orashi river/Oguta lake down to the Atlantic Ocean by the Federal Government, H.E Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma inspected the channel on the River.
Governor Uzodimma first inspected the level of work ongoing at the Naval Base, Oguta which is an integral part in the creation of economic zone around the gas-rich region of imo state.
The Governor while speaking to media personnel stated that the economic opportunities that will emerge from this project cannot be overemphasized. He further promised to keep utilizing the State’s God-given resources for the development of the State and beyond.
