A greater Imo is one whose youths are energized through the SMEs empowerment kits.
Ordinarily, Government promises are hardly matched with actions but this time, naysayers were lost for negative words. Evidently, Imo youths who were credibly enlisted have their devices buzzing with empowerment sum just at the twilight of the Imo Youth Empowerment Program (IYEP) which saw to the empowerment of 15,000 youths in their set skills on June 26, 2021.
It will be recalled with benefit of hindsight that the Imo State Government government had conducted various entrepreneurial trainings and skills acquisition under the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Skills Acquisition in conjunction with the Office of the Special Adviser (SA), Youth affairs.
As a stimulus package designed to revitalize the State’s economy, it is important that this process creates the right opportunities for other jobs in the chain and improve living standards.
