Today, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma presented official vehicles to the Chairman Ndi Eze Imo, the Chairman Ndi Eze in Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe zones as well as Chairmen Ndi Eze in the 27 Local Government Areas of the State.
The Governor acknowledged the contributions of the Traditional Rulers in the development of the State especially as they support Government initiatives while ensuring the sustenance of peace in their various communities.
His Excellency reiterated the need to transform the State beyond infrastructural development by supporting institutions and custodians of our tradition. Accordingly, he handed over the vehicles as an encouragement from the Government to support the Traditional Rulers in the discharge of their duties.
