IMO STATE GOVERNMENT MOBILIZES FOR THE GRADING AND MAINTENANCE OF RURAL ROADS IN THE OIL PRODUCING COMMUNITIES

Through the Imo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (ISOPADEC), the Imo State government has fully mobilized indigenous contractors to grade and maintain rural roads in the state’s oil producing communities.

Chief Charles Orie, MD/CEO of ISOPADEC, revealed this and said that the commission routinely does this in December to make sure the locals have a happy holiday.

Below is a list of the roads that were selected for grading and maintenance:

ORU EAST L.G.A

  1. Social club hall road
  2. Ubachima / Umuifa / Isieke road
  3. Umuhu Primary School Akatta road
  4. Ozuh Omuma-Amimo road
  5. Orie Amiri-Umuduru road
  6. Umuezike Awo-Omamma road
  7. New Road Umuibe, Amagu

OGUTA L.G.A

  1. Lagos Road Phase 2 Nkwesi
  2. Obuokwu road Obudi Agwa
  3. Health Center road Obudi / UBA Autonomous Community Link road
  4. Oguta Egbuoma major road
  5. Umuide-Umuoparakatu road
  6. Ibiam Road Egwe road
  7. Eze Egwe road

OHAJI/EGBEMA L.G.A

  1. Umuagwo-Umuoso road
  2. Abacheke Mmahu bypass road
  3. Ekugba-Obiakpu link road
  4. Umuokwuzu-ububo road ochia
  5. Oborji-Obegwe primary school road
  6. Obitti-Abuja bus stop road
  7. Umuokanne-Mgbuirichi road
