His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has selected and inaugurated 305 patriotic Imo citizens for the 305 wards in the State in an effort to directly engage the grassroots of the State and improve inclusivity in governance.
The 305 appointees would canvass, market government programs for the correct orientation of Imo people and maintaining the peace in the State, according to Governor Uzodimma.
The Governor clarified that because of their appointments, they are members of the Political Bureau and that they are therefore “to report immediately to his office” because they are only responsible to him.
Barr. Eke Uzoma made the following remarks in his acceptance address on behalf of his colleagues: “We are thrilled to be part of the inclusive administration and that by the appointment, the Governor has genuinely returned power to the people.”
He pledged that they would work hard and spread word of the Prosperity Government’s accomplishments to the general public.
