Imolites, today we are reminded of our great country’s Independence Day. Our achievements over sixty-one years can largely be attributed to the collective strength and perseverance of its outstanding citizens.
As my husband, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma stated in his broadcast earlier today, “The spirit of brotherhood, negotiations and compromise that informed the pre and post Independence AGREEMENT for a united Federal Republic of Nigeria must be reborn in the present generation of leaders.” I believe for Nigeria to become a greater nation, every one of our leaders has to live up to the vows they made.
His Excellency assures that he will continue to undertake every reasonable step necessary for his Administration to implement the 3R Agenda with the intention of bringing Peace, Prosperity, and Progress to Imo State.
